Sophie Graham, co-director of Laurence London hairdressers in North Chingford shares her future ambitions, achieving dreams and her love for West Essex

Who are you and what do you do?

I am Sophie Graham. I am a hair stylist and co-director of the innovative Laurence London hairdressers in North Chingford.

Where do you live and why?

I have lived in North Chingford since I was a child, and my family and I moved to Hertford in my teens. I am delighted to have moved back to Chingford, my old home town.

What is the best part of your job?

Making my clients feel great about their hair and hopefully providing a boost to their self- confidence when they leave the salon. This feeling is very satisfying.

What is the worst part of your job?

Not having an available appointment for my clients when they need it.

How do you like to spend your time with your family?

My family is very important to me. When we all get together we love going to an Italian restaurant and there is certainly an immense choice in Chingford.

Do you have a fitness regime?

I love going to the gym. It is important to exercise after standing a lot during working days.

What is your beauty must have this season?

It has to be Stila mascara. I discovered it recently and now I can’t do without it!

What is popular at Laurence London at the moment?

At the salon it has to be our wonderful Great Lengths Extensions. They are fabulous and provide so much volume to the hair.

Where do you like to go with the girls?

Shopping! There are many great clothes shops in the area. Afterwards we have a meal in North Chingford.

Do you have a guilty pleasure?

It has to be eating cake and wearing my Pyjamas and slippers!

What are you doing for New Years Eve?

My friends and I have arranged to go to the Deco Lounge in Hertford, I can’t wait!

Can you share any of your New Years resolutions?

I really want to promote Laurence London hairdressers and give the best possible service to all of my clients.

How do you relax?

Listening to my favourite playlists and chatting to my best friend on the phone.

What is your biggest achievement in your career so far?

It has to be becoming a co-director at Laurence London hairdressers and working with my wonderful team.

Can you share your future ambitions?

To have two successful hair salons with great co-workers who share my passion for hairdressing.
