Spire Roding Hospital attended Boleyn Stadium and offered free testicular cancer screening to male fans

On April 2 Spire Roding Hospital attended West Ham’s home ground at the Boleyn Stadium, for the West Ham vs Crystal Palace football game, offering free screening for testicular cancer to all male fans from both teams. A clinically equipped trailer was in place offering a private and comfortable environment to the fans where consultant urologist Mr John Peters and consultant radiologist Dr Sandeep Pathak carried out the screening. In addition to this, the team from Spire Roding were also handing out information leaflets from Cancer UK and DT38 and assisted in raising money to support the charity’s work. At the end of the day more than 50 men had been screened and went home with a piece of mind.
