Located on the edge of Epping Forest, green open space is plentiful at Forest School, but the independent school has taken the initiative to welcome prospective parents and pupils to its series of virtual admissions events on 22 June.
Hosting a programme of online 11+ events the school has come together to give parents the chance to explore the school remotely but also get a feel for what the school is like and have the opportunity to ask those all important questions when considering your child’s future education through live Q&A sessions.
If you’re considering the best options for your child’s future, to help you make that decision and to guide you through the admissions process at Forest, here’s 3 reasons to get involved on 22 June from the comfort of your own home.
1. Webinars from senior teaching team
After an introduction from the Warden (Head) Marcus Cliff Hodges, you can watch a series of short webinars from the senior teaching team at Forest School, including the Head of Lower School, Deputy Head Academic, Deputy Head Co-Curricular and Deputy Head Pastoral. These online resources will be available from 8am on 22 June to watch at your convenience.
2. Hear directly from the pupils about their experiences
Hearing directly from the pupils can give you valuable insight into what the school experience as a whole is like for the children. Forest School recognises how important this is when making decisions about which school is right for your child which is why they have a series of pupil interviews available online and a virtual ‘meet’ the Head Boy and Head Girl.
3. Ask questions in live Q&As
To support the online resources available, a series of half-hour live Q&A sessions will run twice a day from Monday 22 June through to Friday 26 June at 12:45pm and 1:30pm. Register for your preferred time slot – these may go quickly.
The Warden, senior teaching staff and the admissions team are always eager to hear from parents and answer any questions so they have made themselves available for the live Q&As so you can ask any questions after your virtual experience. In order to manage numbers and give people time to ask questions, spaces are limited for these sessions, so you’re encouraged to register as soon as possible.
