Two daredevil colleagues from Loughton-based chartered accountants Haslers have managed to raise more than £1,700 for charity by completing a skydive from 10,000 feet.
Nancy Jones and Simonne Fernandes set off from Go SkyDive in Salisbury on May 20 to raise money for The Haslers Foundation – the firm’s in-house charity that raises money for a number of local and national causes.
It was the first time either of them had skydived and with the help of friends and families they have so far beaten their initial £1,600 target to raise £1,785 for the Foundation.
Speaking after the jump, Nancy said: ‘We are really delighted with the amount of money we have managed to raise for the Foundation. It was worth jumping out of a plane to see the difference it will make, even though we were both terrified at the time.’
