How scooping a top gong for its workplace ethics has put Wanstead’s Treehouse Nursery Schools among the best employees in the country

It's a big well done to Treehouse Nursery Schools, with the private childcare provider recently picking up a major award. Investors in People, the non-profit organisation that aims to improve conditions in the workplace, recently bestowed a We Invest in People Silver accreditation on the Wanstead-based facility, which is a fantastic achievement as only 15 per cent of organisations assessed ever get granted this level.

It means that at Treehouse Nursery, which has been operating for an impressive 28 years, has the right workplace principles in place and that its staff and management are making active efforts to make sure that there's real consistency and everyone in the organisation feels the effects!

Considering that Treehouse Nursery is the largest daycare provider in Redbridge and employs over 122 staff to work over three sites makes the Silver accreditation even more of a success story. The nursery, which caters for children aged 4 months to 5 years of age, is also a CACHE accredited training centre which invests heavily in employees learning and development.

"We'd like to congratulate Treehouse Nursery Schools," says Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People. "Silver accreditation on We Invest in People is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Treehouse Nursery Schools in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people."

Commenting on the award, Maria Sanchez, founder and manging director of Treehouse Nursery Schools, says: "We are delighted and honoured to have achieved the Silver accreditation for the Investors in People. Back in 2016, when we were first accredited with the Standards award, the aim and ambition was to keep progressing, therefore today is a reflection on the progression of the standards maintained and improved. To have achieved the Silver award is an extremely satisfying moment for Treehouse Nursery Schools. We continue to always strive for excellence and make this a better place for our staff. The award from Investors in People clearly demonstrates that our values are integrated into our environment, culture and ethos."
