Beauty @ Lemonhed's Lucie Hutton explains how life in Loughton has been a shock and why she had a hands-on experience with the England football team

Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Lucie Hutton and Im a partner at Beauty @ Lemonhed, a new beauty salon offering Loughton a different experience in the world of beauty.

Where do you live and why?
I have just moved in to a flat in Loughton with two friends. Before I was living with my mum having everything done for me, so its a shock to the system.

Are you a lady who lunches? If so, where do you go?
If Im not in the salon Ill go to Nu Bar for lunch as they do a wicked club sandwich.

Which is your favourite local boutique?
It has to be Bonnie and Clyde which is just over the road from the salon. I know the girls always go buying on Tuesday, so on Wednesday morning Ill see what theyve got in.

When working in London we had the England football team in for massages

Which is your favourite local restaurant and why?
The Victoria Tavern in Forest Road. They do a mean vegetable lasagne pure comfort food. I also love going to the Fish House in Victoria Park.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
That is a really hard question as I used to work on cruise ships and have been to places like Jamaica, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Bahamas and all round the Caribbean. I went to India for three months two years ago which was amazing.

What is the most valued possession in your handbag?
My phone. I get all my emails sent to it and I can send all our promotions to our clients each month through it.

Do you have a favourite hair salon?
In the past I have only ever had Tom from Baileys in Buckhurst Hill, but since being at Lemonhed I have put my trust in Vicky. She is not only an incredible hairdresser but a good friend too.

Cosmetic surgery or grow old gracefully?
Grow old gracefully. Do not get me started on botox or we will be here for hours. Prevention is better than cure.

What are your favourite shoes?
As Im on my feet all day I have to wear flip flops at work, but you will always find a pair of plimsoles in the cupboard for after work as they go with everything.

Personal trainer or gym?
Neither. I sometimes walk to work and other than that its the Wii Fit. I dont like being stuck indoors when we have a forest on our door step.

What are you listening to on your iPod?
I always put my iPod on shuffle so Ive got a selection all the time and Im always open to new bands.

Do you have a claim to fame?
Not really, but when I worked in Canary Wharf at the Four Seasons we had the England football team and a few other celebrities in for massages.

What luxury could you not do without?
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream; it is the best moisturiser I have ever used.

Where are you spending Christmas?
Ill be spending Christmas at home with my family. We are only a small family so its a very chilled one.

What is on your Christmas list?
I dont know. I have everything I really need, but I have seen a beautiful knitted jumper dress in Rock if someone wants a present idea for me.
