GANTS HILLS new Chili & Chutney restaurant was officially opened by the Mayor of Redbridge, councillor Jim OShea, on October 30, at a buffet event in its new premises.

The restaurant and take away serves vegetarian food from all regions of India, including Punjab, Gujrat, South India and Mumbai street food.

The restaurant celebrated the opening by offering a free buffet to guests and interested customers over the weekend, and co-owner Ashish Narbheram plans to offer a series of special offers throughout December in order to encourage new customers to try their innovative range of cuisine.

Chili & Chutneys head chef, Mrs Darshana Narbheram, has six years of catering and events experience, and previously worked in the Marriott Hotel Goa under executive head chef Ajay Chopra. Ajay is currently a judge on Masterchef India.
