Zimbabwe born Gamu Nhengu is still the punters choice to win this years X Factor and is expected to make a sensational return to the final line-up of contestants next week when the judges announce a wild card for the first time in the shows history.

The eighteen year old songstress is still amongst the bookies top five at odds of 6/1 despite being told no by an emotional Cheryl on Sunday night.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, explained: Theres a lot of drama in this years X Factor. Were not at all surprised to hear that Gamu will be returning. She has been by far the most consistent act and the most popular with punters. Viewers can relax Gamu is still very much in the game!
