Balgores Property Group opens new office in Ongar

Balgores Property Group, leading estate agents in Essex, has just opened a new branch in Ongar, its second new office opening in the last nine months. The new office, branded Balgores Hayes, is located at 134, High Street, on the ground floor of a character grade two listed building.

Ongar is a historic market town situated between Harlow and Chelmsford, with access to the motorway network via Junction 7 of the M11.

The new Ongar office is being overseen by branch manager, Lee Davey. Lee has been in the industry since 2008 and is an important part of the Balgores team, consistently selling and listing a wide range of properties on a regular basis. Lee possesses a real understanding of clients’ needs and is prepared to exceed their expectations.

Paul Hayes, director of Balgores Hayes, part of Balgores Property Group, commented: ‘We are delighted to be opening a new office at Ongar, which will enable us to provide our award-winning service to buyers, sellers and landlords in the town and local vicinity.’

Property market still going strong

Michael Stevens Estates in Loughton is finding the local property market as buoyant as ever. According to Ben Reynolds, senior negotiator at the Loughton agents explains despite the new stamp duty changes that came into effect on the April 1 for investors and second home purchasers, they still seem to be looking to acquire properties. ‘Both parties are still on the hunt for properties as so long as they feel the property will achieve a good yield and capital growth.’

‘First time buyers are even more prominent, especially with the new government Help To Buy ISA scheme, which is enabling to build up a healthier deposit to get on to the property ladder.’

He continues: ‘The lettings market is strong – with professional tenants looking to rent properties ranging from one bedroom flats to five bedroom houses set close to Loughton High Road or a Central Line Station.’
