We have the essentials in outdoor dining for when one of those rare warm evenings rolls around

One thing we can be sure of is that our opportunities for outdoor dining are limited even in mid-summer, so take advantage of every balmy evening that comes along and throw yourself with gusto into the alfresco life.

Days are longer and the harsh midday rays have subsided, so treat your outside space as you would a lovely dining room and deck your table with crisp white linen, gorgeous glassware, and pretty plates then settle back as the sun goes down.

Your furniture in this scenario is especially important. Forget the flimsy offerings of huge DIY stores and look locally for some quality products that are comfortable and stylish. Odd as it may sound we have found some rather lovely rattan designs at Andrews Office Furniture! But then again, if you really want to make the most of the sunshine your table is just as functional as an office desk. Add a huge parasol to shade the laptop screen and you’re all set.

Unfortunately we can’t help when it comes to explaining that golden suntan to the boss…but an outdoor dinner invitation might soften the blow.
